The ground beneath him shattered as his massive, regenerating and crawling body fell into a pit!

He roared back, growing more old man-like heads made of black goo and with long white beards and old-looking faces with giant, spiraling red eyes, opening their jaws to fire beams of pure demonic flames, an element Planta couldn’t resist or become immune to so easily.

"NNGGHH...!"
Planta gritted her teeth, feeling her entire being beginning to melt as if she were a piece of alloy within the interior of a furnace.
"EREBUS!"
As she called for him, Erebus appeared.
Her battle against Merlinus only lasted but a few seconds, the time it took the sluggish fairy to reach the old man.
"Sorry, I’ve become a bit slower due to all the power I must carry. Merlinus, I’ll be your opponent from here."
"Erebus?!"

Merlinus suddenly felt his very soul being punctured.
