Chapter 634: The Chosen Day 7[Heaven Tribulation Of The Gold Realm]
They were right. There was indeed more to come. This much was true and could not be avoided.
The reason for this was because when manu had been imprisoned ten thousand years ago, he had been a demi god, but his imprisonment had done. Lot of damage to him.
It had striped him of a lot of his power. Then again, that had been the plan, to slowly wither him away until he became nothing of significance.
In fact, if it had been a human that had found him, his situation would have been worse than it had been at just falling to the gold rank.@@@@
It was Chiron’s robust foundation that allowed him preserve that much power.
Meaning that he would have to first face the lightning strikes for climbing into the gold rank with this body and then he would face the legendary Seven lightning strikes that severed one from their mortality, each strike representing one of the seven cardinal sins.
As the echoes of the first lightning strike faded, the battlefield grew eerily silent for a moment. Thin tendrils of smoke rose from Manu’s charred skin, his body trembling under the force of the punishment he had endured. The platform beneath his feet was scorched, glowing faintly with residual sparks of energy that danced and fizzled in erratic patterns, remnants of the heavenly wrath.
From the pillar below, a low hum began to emanate—a deep, resonant sound that carried a strange sense of inevitability. A soft, ethereal light began to shine from its core, spreading outward like liquid gold. The glow intensified, rushing upward like a flood, enveloping Manu’s body in its warmth. The light surged into his form, and where his flesh had been burned and broken, it began to mend. His skin knitted itself back together with impossible speed, fresh and unmarred, as if the lightning had never touched him.
Manu threw his head back and chuckled, the sound sharp and mocking. His voice carried to the heavens, his tone laced with defiance. "Is that all? I thought the heavens would put up more of a fight."
The storm above growled in response, a deep rumble that shook the air. The clouds churned once more, and high above, another bolt began to gather. This one was larger, more menacing, its edges jagged and alive with searing blue-white energy. It writhed like a living thing, desperate to descend and obliterate its target.
"Is that it?" he shouted to the heavens. "Is that all you can do?"
The final strike came without warning. The sky split open, and a bolt wider than any before crashed down with deafening force. The entire battlefield was consumed in light, the air vibrating with the intensity of the attack. Manu’s body was blasted backward, slamming into the edge of the platform.
But as the light faded, he was still standing. His skin was unmarred, his aura radiating with unmatched ferocity. The pillar beneath him pulsed one last time, its energy flowing into him like a tide, solidifying his advance.
Manu licked his lips, his grin feral. "Six strikes," he muttered to himself, flexing his fingers as power surged through his veins. "Six steps to perfection. And still, you couldn’t kill me."
>>Alert: Host Has faced The Six Strikes of Heaven’s Tribulation for the Gold Realm, and will now face the strikes fir the Demi god realm<<
Manu chuckled at yhe alert from the change fate system.
He raised his eyes to the darkened sky, his expression one of unbridled arrogance. "Now it’s my turn."
At such a time, he heard a loud scream, "Manu Madayaki, I am here for your head."
Manu raised a brow at this, wondering if more demi gods had been foolish enough to come against him again regardless of what they had seen.
Such foolishness, he welcomed. However, when turned about, it was no demi god... in fact, it was a mortal. It was...
