Chapter 583: Blood Contract Is The Bind
Chapter 583: Blood Contract Is The Bind
On the battlefield, all had been disposed of—save for a few exceptional figures. Among them stood those who bore gifted weapons, cursed weapons that had elevated them to leadership among the Orcs.
The Female Orc chief was one such figure, her presence still formidable and unyielding, but she remained speechless like the second warrior.@@@@
Another survivor, a war chief from a different clan, also remained. It had been his turn to wage war against the demons, and thus, he had outlasted the slaughter. He was chief of his clan and was one of the three clans that ruled this land.
Their weapons, humming with latent power, emitted a faint, ethereal glow, as though they were shielding their bearers with their cursed energy.
The light was subtle, but its power was undeniable, serving as evidence to their survival. Yet, their thoughts were far from the glow of their weapons.
The battlefield reeked of death and decay, the scent of their fallen kin filling the air, weighing heavily on their hearts.
This was the might of a Gold rank cultivator, a level of power that stood at the pinnacle of the world. It was a force to be feared, respected, and in some corners of the earth, worshipped.
In the oppressive silence that followed the carnage, a voice slithered through the air, chilling and wet, like the rasp of a drowning man.
"So, you have returned. I was unbirthed then. but I heard the stories. Before the Great War, Ten thousand years ago, the heir of a god fell among men, bringing with his fangs the appreciation for his poison and decay."
This was a double attack. She would hack off the head and Hunter the body.
However, just when both their attacks were about to reach, they paused just before they would reach his skin.
And then Hunter, the blue core beast fell on the ground, whimpering as it rolled around in pain, blood coming out of its eyes, ears, and mouth.
This was the same thing for Carla. Both of them screaming in pain as blood fell from their orifices. Manu madayaki turned to them. Carla also looked at him. Her eyes were red, but she did not break eye contact. And then through her pain, she spoke, "You... you are not him. You are not Chiron."
"incredible!" he commended. "You can tell the difference. It does not matter. You have a master and servant blood contract with the owner of this body. You can’t harm me even if you want to. You may hate me, but I now own you. Both of you."
He also turned to Hunter and the other two orcs that had survived the massacre. "Those blades you use have long been corrupted with my essence as I pulled with that foolish Precious land spirit for ten thousand years. And that is why you are still alive. You have survived by my mercy only given to worthy pawns."
And then he spoke a word, "submit!" Instantly, even those rolling on the ground in pain, had no choice both to bow to him, and those that used the cursed weapons had their weapons—they once controlled force them to the ground.
He smiled, "good, now lets go. this world needs some reshaping... IN MY Image!"
Manu walked forward, parting the fog that could never be broken from within like he was lifting up a curtain. And the others rose to their feet with no choice but to follow him.
