#308 - Month-end gossip chapter
Humbly begging for monthly votes, esteemed readers.
If you have any guaranteed votes, please remember to cast them.
The book is past the halfway point, and the quality is still holding up. Although the average subscription isn't increasing rapidly, it's still making small steps forward.
Due to the previous turmoil, my state of mind has inevitably been affected. During the sugar control period, I tend to be depressed, so the daily updates started to be delayed and couldn't be delivered on time. I sincerely apologize for this.
Once procrastination starts, it's hard to correct.
What still affects my mood is the sci-fi review incident. Although the editor-in-chief talked to me about it later, saying it was a work error, and there were also suspected Qidian staff members explaining it in the chapter comments... my creative enthusiasm has indeed been affected.
Other things that might seem serious to others, I actually didn't pay any attention to, because they were irrelevant to creation.
Fortunately, this incident didn't affect my inspiration. Recently, seven or eight new ideas have emerged, and some of them are quite good.
Now I have no other thoughts, just to seriously finish writing the 'Hunxian' (Mixed Immortal) work.
A little personal hope:
I hope that this work can inject some fresh vitality into the monotonous, repetitive, and uninteresting status quo of online novels filled with tailoring and routines, using the elements of immortal cultivation to support a story of mecha fighting monsters, and bring readers a pleasant reading experience.
Everything else is up to fate.
After finishing writing 'Hunxian', I will take a break for about half a year to recharge myself.
Then I'll quickly roll back to my comfort zone.
In mid-November, I have to go to BJ to attend a meeting, which will take about two or three days. If the update is delayed at that time, I will notify you in advance.
This is really unavoidable. I have declined all the meetings and activities that could be declined, and those that must be attended are either impossible or difficult to decline.
I will try my best to save up manuscripts to ensure stable updates.
But procrastination this thing...
Every day I open the document, my mind is full of plot, but I always can't find the feeling to write, which is very painful.
No more chatting.
I hope everyone enjoys reading in November, and remember to cast your votes to 'Hunxian'!
Thank you all, esteemed readers, for your strong support!
I will continue to work hard!
