Coating his entire body in his Axe Intent was not an easy feat to accomplish because a weapon intent was meant to coat its corresponding weapon and not the weapon, however, it was still possible.

However, what was not normal was spending less than a minute in learning how to coat one's entire body in their Intent.

Even Nina was shocked by how fast Corey used to learn how to coat his entire body with his Intent. However, when she thought about how Corey's stars of consciousness was constantly working on his Axe intent and how he could use multiple stars of consciousness to learn how to use his intent to coat his entire body, she wasn't so shocked by it anymore.

After coating his entire body in his Intent, Corey observed himself for a moment, and the one thing he realized was that his Axe Intent which was being used to coat his body was much weaker than when it was used to coat his axe.

Another thing he noticed was that his Intent was not stable and it was taking a lot of effort to maintain it.

"To the next step then." Corey looked up, and then he walked to next step.

When he did, he felt the pressure on his Intent increase. His mind was no longer the target of the Will of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal, his Axe Intent was. Another thing Corey could faintly sense was the pressure had a tinge of the aura of an axe, but it was so faint that he almost ignored it.

Corey paused, and his Eyes and Ears of Omniscience increased their output as he tried to see or hear anything strange, and a few seconds later... he heard it.

Thrum

An extremely low, subtle, and familiar thrum drifted into his ears.

'The sound is familiar to the sound my axe intent makes.'

Although his Intent was strengthened and healed, he knew that if he continued to the next step, he would most likely win against the Will of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal, but the battle would be longer and more dangerous.

If he won in the next step, then what of the step after that? And the step after that?

'I can't continue like this... I need a change.'

Corey looked at the manifestation of his axe intent, and his brows furrowed.

'My Intent is three times stronger than what it was before I came to the Stairs of Ascension, but I don't think I can ever form a World Heart Intent if I continue like this.'

'I need time... time to think and ponder on what I want for the uniqueness for my Intent.'

Corey looked around, and then the dark space which contained the manifestation of his mind, axe intent, and the Will of the Omniweapon Infinity Crystal dissipated like a fog.

Corey sat in a cross-legged position on the fifteenth step of the Stairs of Ascension. He closed his eyes, and then a strange feeling and a strange intuition appeared in his mind.

He barely gave this intuition and feeling a second thought, and without hesitation, he did something that surprised Nina and Chucky, he shut down his Stars of Consciousness and closed his eyes.

The countless activities and thoughts that were always going on in his mind suddenly stopped.

It was an extremely strange and uncomfortable feeling, but Corey felt that he needed such a state to improve his Axe Intent.

With his eyes closed, the output of his Ears of Omniscience reduced to its lowest state, and only his main consciousness being the only functioning 'brain' he had, Corey pondered on what he knew about axes, why he used axes and not other weapons, why he chose axe intent instead of so many other intents, his goals, his desires, his ambitions, his personality, and who he truly was.
