After the demon king appeared, it was as if all of the demons had been suddenly roused.

All of them seemed like they were filled with energy by some kind of outside source and they all seemed like they were ready to fight.

That was just the kind of prestige and power that the demon king had.

Especially when he was covered in that dark corruption energy that was much denser than anything that had been seen previously.

There was no doubt that whatever was the source of that dark corruption energy was pumping that energy directly into the demon king.

As for how strong the demon king actually was, that was still to be seen. However, I wasn't worried at all even though it seemed like the demons were becoming stronger from having the demon king lead them.

That was because there was one more thing that I had prepared.

After the demon king finished releasing its energy, the voice from before said, "Destroy them all!"

Once this order was given, the demons charged without any hesitation.

Of course, the only thing that they were met with was a barrage of attacks.

During the time that they seemed to be increasing their own strength, it wasn't as if the human forces had remained idle. They had been preparing for when the demons began their attack.

The barrage of attacks landed right on the demons and they took serious damage from it. The only thing that had really been increased was the morale of the demons. It wasn't as if the appearance of the demon king was enough to raise the powers of the demons.

So they couldn't last under a single barrage of attacks.

But that was only the first line of demons that were hit with the attack. This was just the vanguard of the demons, there were still more demons that were behind them ready to fight. The strange thing was that it didn't seem like they were afraid of death.

With the way that they charged forward, it didn't seem like there was a trace of hesitation in them.

This didn't seem like the effects of their morale being raised. Instead, this almost seemed like they had been brainwashed by something and were being forced to fight.

There was a third group that suddenly came out of nowhere that started charging at the path that was created. In no time at all, the demons that were blocking the way of this third group were being pushed away by the power of this third group.

There was one large explosion that scattered the demons before they started cutting through the demons.

As they charged through, their appearances were revealed.

It was hard to mistake them because of the size of these people.

It was a group of giants that were charging through the lines of demons.

At the head of that group of giants was one that was swinging a glowing club. Whenever that glowing club swung out, there were demons that were smashed to pieces.

Just this one giant alone seemed like he would be enough to take down all of the demons in front of him. But it was even worse with all of the other giants helping that one giant in front. Naturally, the one giant that was in front of the others leading the way was Alidus.

He had been waiting the entire time and he had been anxiously watching because of the orders that he had been given.

But now that he was free, he would naturally take out all that anxiety on the demons in front

of him.

No matter how they tried to resist, they couldn't stop this group of giants at all.

It really seemed like the giants would be able to make it to the demon king.

That was until a bunch of large demons suddenly appeared.

These large demons were formed when demons with corruption energy suddenly came

together.

These large demons were harder to take down.

Or they would have been if they hadn't been suddenly hit with a bunch of glowing arrows.
