Chapter 980 - 210: Epilogue 4
Fang Jingyi watched Rong Rui endlessly wipe away her tears, and her heart softened. Her affection for Little Rui was even greater than the joy she felt upon first learning she had such a grandson.
Si Nan saw Fang Jingyi focused entirely on Rong Rui, oblivious to him, so he got up and walked towards the master bedroom.
Fang Jingyi caught sight of Si Nan leaving from the corner of her eye and merely glanced at him.
Just as Si Nan had expected, her heart was entirely occupied with Rong Rui, and she truly couldn’t focus on anything else.
...
In the master bedroom, Tang Yige was still sound asleep.
Si Nan entered the room, closed the door, and locked it.
He walked to the bedside, took off his shoes, climbed on, and lay down next to Yige, gently holding her through the blanket.
He thought he was moving lightly enough, but as soon as he lay down, he heard Tang Yige lazily speak, "Big Brother."
Si Nan paused in surprise.
Tang Yige curled her lips, turned around inside the quilt to face Si Nan, her eyes still closed, and snuggled into his arms.
Si Nan’s eyes gleamed softly, tightening his embrace, and looked down at Tang Yige’s head resting against his chest, "When did you wake up?"
"Hmm... when you got into the bed," Tang Yige replied with a hoarse voice.
Si Nan lowered his head and kissed her on the top of her head, "Still disturbed you."
Tang Yige shook her head.
"Sleep a bit more."
"... What time is it?" Tang Yige murmured.
Si Nan pressed his lips slightly, paused, and said, "Almost twelve noon."
As soon as Si Nan finished speaking, Tang Yige immediately opened her eyes, lifted her head from his arms, and stared at Si Nan with her beautiful eyes wide in shock.
Si Nan smiled and pecked her lips lightly twice, "If you want to sleep, just go on sleeping."
"... I’m almost turning into a pig! How can I sleep this much?" Tang Yige grumbled.
Si Nan hugged her tightly, "It’s not that you can’t sleep, just that you’re too tired recently."
"Where’s Little Rui?" Tang Yige asked.
"... In the living room," Si Nan said.
Tang Yige ruffled her hair and pouted, kissing the corner of Si Nan’s mouth, "I have to get up."
Si Nan tenderly gazed at Tang Yige’s still weary face, "Sleep if you want, okay?"
Tang Yige hastily shook her head, "If I sleep more, I’ll really become a pig."
After speaking, Tang Yige wriggled out of his embrace, lifted the quilt from herself, decisively sat up, got out of bed, and walked towards the bathroom.
Si Nan watched Tang Yige slip into the bathroom; soon, the sound of water could be heard from inside.
Si Nan turned his head to glance towards the bedroom, then sat up on the bed, paused for a few seconds, got off the bed, and walked towards the bedroom.
When Si Nan opened the bathroom door.
Tang Yige was holding an electric toothbrush standing up from the toilet while pulling up her pants.
Seeing him enter, her face immediately warmed, she pressed the flush button, closed the toilet lid, and walked to the sink.
The faucet was left running; she reached over to wash her hands before turning it off.
Si Nan walked over smiling, hugging her from behind, looking at her flushed little face in the mirror, kissing her neck, "Eating and drinking and everything else is just a part of life, and you’re afraid I might witness it?"
Tang Yige’s face turned even redder, but hearing his words, she glanced at him in the mirror, continued brushing her teeth without saying a word.
Si Nan didn’t linger on the topic, lowering his dark eyelashes, kissing densely on her neck.
Tang Yige’s heart trembled from his kissing.
She hurriedly picked up a cup of water, rinsed away the foam in her mouth, put down the cup and toothbrush, turned around, and pushed against his chest with her palm, saying, "Don’t interrupt me while I’m washing up."
Si Nan’s mouth gently curved as Tang Yige turned back to wash her face, he leaned in again, hugging her slender waist.
Tang Yige’s waist quivered slightly, helplessly staring at him in the mirror, she said nothing, opened the tap, splashed water on her face, and wiped off the water droplets roughly with a dry towel, hastily washing her face.
Dragging Si Nan’s hand as they walked out of the bathroom, "Big Brother, you should just wait here, I’ll change in the dressing room and come out quickly."
Tang Yige finished speaking, let go of Si Nan’s hand, and turned to head to the dressing room.
Si Nan, however, turned back and caught Tang Yige’s hand, pulling her back into his arms, lowered his head and kissed her.
Tang Yige paused, then her eyebrows curved, she lifted her other hand, hooked it around his neck, responding gently.
Si Nan kissed her enough before retreating from Tang Yige’s lips, pulling her towards the dressing room, "I’ll keep you company."
Tang Yige instantly became uneasy, "No, definitely not! If you’re there, how am I supposed to change clothes?"
Si Nan turned to look at Tang Yige, his eyes ambiguous, "Where on your body have I not seen, hmm?"
"... Is that the same thing?" Tang Yige blushed, staring at him and murmuring softly.
Si Nan said nothing more, stubbornly pulling Tang Yige towards the walk-in closet.
When they reached the closet, Si Nan took out a white shirt and jeans and handed them to Yige, "Change into these."
Tang Yige took the shirt and jeans, stared at Si Nan, and finally confirmed, "You’re really not leaving?"
Si Nan raised his eyebrows, took a step back, looking at Tang Yige.
Seeing this, Tang Yige knew it was basically impossible to make him leave.
With a sigh in her heart, Tang Yige could do nothing with Si Nan’s stubbornness.
Thinking it over, she decided it was better to be straightforward than shy.
After all, as he said earlier, they’ve both seen everything of each other, so what’s there to be shy about, ahem.
In her heart, she kept instilling herself with these shameless thoughts, Tang Yige licked her lips and whispered, "Help me take the clothes."
Si Nan brought over the clothes again.
Tang Yige walked to the side of the closet, opened a drawer, inside were neatly arranged... under. garments.
She casually took out a light green one.
Tang Yige turned around, not giving herself time to hesitate, quickly took off the outer pajamas and thermal shirt, putting them aside, and started putting on the under.garment.
When fastening the clasp at the back, perhaps because of a certain someone’s presence, she tried several times but still couldn’t fasten it.
In anxiety and embarrassment, Tang Yige’s face blushed so much that it started steaming.
At this moment.
Warm fingers brushed over her hand, grabbed both sides of the clasp, and effortlessly fastened it.
Tang Yige, "..."
"Dummy."
Si Nan hugged her from behind, indulgently whispered in her ear.
Tang Yige’s ears blushed red, almost dropping blood, elbowing him, "You’re the dummy!"
Si Nan closed his eyes, rubbed his nose against her ear, then let her go, picked up the thermal shirt and handed it to her, "Put it on quickly, it’s not good to catch a cold."
Tang Yige sweetly curled her lips, took it, and quickly put it on.
Because there were thermal pants under her pajama pants, Tang Yige was much more straightforward, took them off and directly took the jeans from Si Nan’s hands and put them on.
After everything was done, Tang Yige walked up to him, pulling his hand to walk out of the closet, "All done, now we can go out and find Little Rui."
Si Nan’s eyes flashed quickly, pulled Yige, "Yiyi."
"Hmm?"
Tang Yige turned back, looking at him inquisitively.
Si Nan inhaled, "I have something to tell you."
Tang Yige turned, nodded, "Go ahead."
"... My mom’s here," Si Nan said.
After Si Nan spoke, Tang Yige looked at him, her expression didn’t change much, but she didn’t speak either.
Si Nan frowned, walked closer to her, released her hand, gently held her shoulders, stared into her clear eyes, and softly said, "I’ve already told her about Little Rui’s existence."
Tang Yige’s face slowly changed color, visibly turning pale.
"Yiyi." Si Nan painfully tightened his hold on her shoulders, "Don’t be nervous, I think, knowing about Little Rui, my mom won’t have prejudice against you anymore, and she won’t continue opposing us being together."
Tang Yige pressed her pale lips tightly, blankly stared at Si Nan, eyes confused, "Won’t she?"
Tang Yige hadn’t forgotten how much Fang Jingyi disliked her, looked down on her.
Would she change her view and accept her because of Little Rui?
She wasn’t sure!
"She really likes Little Rui," Si Nan said.
"She likes Little Rui because he’s your flesh and blood, her own grandson. But in her eyes, I’m still worthless." Tang Yige bitterly pulled her lips.
Si Nan raised a hand to gently caress her pale face, "Yiyi, no matter my mom’s attitude towards you, it won’t change anything. I want you, never compromise."
Tang Yige’s throat trembled, sadly looking at Si Nan, "But, she’s your mother, you’ve been her entire focus. If she continues to oppose us being together, can you truly ignore her stance?"
Si Nan deeply stared at Tang Yige, "The only thing I know is, no one will ever separate us!"
