Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild

Chapter 665 - 329: The Shipyards’ Past

Chapter 665 - 329: The Shipyards’ Past

"What are you doing? What are you doing to me? My, my head! No, this is—"In the darkness, Boliya’s terrified screams echoed through the underground passage.

"Hey, Li Ang, you have a lot of courage! Vigilante justice will get you punished by the Guild!" Kleem shouted.

"I used to think you weren’t smart, Kleem, but didn’t realize it was this bad. You’ve all aligned with the Empire. Haven’t you considered how it’s being viewed by the Knight Resolution Council now? Still dreaming of the rights granted to defeated ones by the Guild?"

"But, but we were once teammates, the grudge isn’t that big, right?" Fres chuckled bitterly.

"How many times have things messed up, and the blame landed squarely on me, the witch? Ha, witch, it’s such a handy excuse. Now, let you all truly experience the power of a witch."

Fres and Kleem shouted a few more times, initially wanting to half-threaten, half-persuade Li Ang, but these words gradually became weak amidst Boliya’s screams, and they couldn’t utter them anymore.

Fres was a mage, not as equipped as Kleem next door to see in the dark. He couldn’t see what Li Ang was doing to Boliya, only felt Magic Power emanating in an incomprehensible way, hastily asking a nearby teammate if they could see anything.

"He, he’s Casting a spell, I haven’t seen this Magic before!" Like Fres, Kleem had no understanding of Curse Art, barely trying to observe Li Ang.

From Boliya’s inability to form coherent sentences amid his screams, they were sure Li Ang was releasing a curse powerful enough to cause them serious harm.

Otherwise, with Boliya’s quick wit, he would’ve been cursing by now, or with his lack of spine, should’ve been begging long ago.

Half an hour passed, Boliya’s voice gradually quieted, and the whispers between Fres and Kleem slowly died down. The silence in the darkness made their breathing slow; they cautiously sensed Li Ang’s Magic Power fluctuations, and every rustle from him was enough to jolt their nerves, as if the next step would be unleashing that mysterious malignant force upon them.

After another half hour of silence in the dark, they heard Li Ang sigh.

"Whew, didn’t expect this, quite effective."

Li Ang stood up and approached the two of them, and they could vaguely see his slender figure, never having felt such an oppressive presence from this witch who only cast spells through external spirituality before.

"We’re running out of time, you two will have to wait until later."

The dreadful treatment being delayed gave the two sweating men a brief relief, but the blade of execution still hung over their heads.

"Boliya, stand up." Li Ang said.

"Yes."

A voice devoid of emotion came from Boliya in the dark, filled with loyalty.

Fres and Kleem’s hair stood on end.

If they hadn’t experienced various apex battles, confident in maintaining their sanity, they’d rather believe this occurrence was a hallucination.

"You, Li Ang, what did you do to Boliya? Why is he..." Fres stammered.

Li Ang just laughed lightly, raising his hand to cast the Healing Water Wave.

This seemingly effortless Casting by himself left Fres stunned, then he saw Boliya quickly recover from his injuries in the healing waters.

After healing Boliya, Li Ang said, "Restrain them."

Boliya stepped forward, sweeping his leg, and as an Archer, his physique was no less than a Warrior’s; the sweeping leg was like a steel whip, directly knocking the two down.

Kleem’s whole body wounds hit the ground, blood splattered, too pained to speak momentarily.

Heavily fallen to the ground, Fres was nearly knocked out, and after a brief gasp, he broke down and pleaded loudly, "Spare me! Li Ang! I beg you! No matter what this curse is, don’t use it on me! I’ll be your informant! You want revenge against The Soul Apex, right?! I’ll help you take out Rams?! Please don’t use this on me!"

"Stop shouting, members of the Celestial Group should have more courage."

Li Ang ignored them, only instructing Boliya to gag them.

He headed straight toward the room where the shipyard leaders were, and before wearing down Boliya with Spiritual Driving, had already instructed the two young girls to liberate their relatives and had Andasu come over for a brief explanation.

Having received excellent education from the Platinum King since childhood, Andasu, though typically aloof and not fond of speaking, regarded herself as a female servant before Li Ang. Nonetheless, she had no issues with fluent and precise expression, which was why she could practice as a Mechanical Engineer.

Thinking about his group, only Dorothy could handle this task well. The others were... ah, who still remembers his goal after leaving The Soul Apex?

Returning to face the shipyard leaders, Li Ang saw them embracing their families. Despite having endured the torment of fear, there were various wounds, but their spirits rekindled upon reuniting safely.

Seeing Li Ang approaching, the crowd swarmed him.

Leading them naturally were the shipyard leaders, with the chief stepping forward to shake his hand immediately, "Thank you, benefactor, I am Bostein, the director of this ’Star Shipyard!’ Moving forward..."

"Let’s skip the courtesies for now."

Li Ang interrupted Bostein and the others’ expressions of gratitude. Although he had saved them, he wasn’t ready to bask in hero-like appreciation and needed to tidy up the current situation.

Though the shipyard leaders had been untied by the two young girls and seemed to understand his intentions after her explanation, uncertainty lingered. They awaited the presence of Li Ang, the decision-maker. After he spoke, they halted the family members and other workers’ families, listening to what Li Ang had to say.
