Chapter 845: Tradition
Chapter 845: Tradition
While the pair of mother and daughter were busy chatting, Jayden was discussing the recent events with Anna.
She too had some knowledge of that Genari face.
"As far as I know, the Genari are too prideful, even more than the dragons and the witches, so from what I can remember, they shouldn’t have a good relationship with the witches.
And with their own creation alone, it wouldn’t be possible to disguise themselves as humans, so there is a chance that this might not be related to the Genari race."
Anna shared her thoughts, but the future is unpredictable, so even she wasn’t exactly sure.
She added: "Still, you should ask the witches about this one time just to be sure."
Jayden nodded, then he turned his gaze towards the two women and said: "Let’s go."
Instantly, a portal appeared in front of them. Both of them walked inside, and after Jayden entered, the portal closed.
"So this is our house. Hmmm, I like this but only as long as you are here," Ada said, checking all the places in the house.
Jayden looked at the empty house and missed his family.
He wanted them all to live here like before, and to do that, he would have to finish his business with Zeus as soon as possible.
Leaving the two women to explore the house, he walked towards the balcony and gazed at the surroundings.
The sun was setting. This was quite the beautiful scene; everything looked so peaceful.
But even Earth won’t be safe after some time, not only because of the tournament, but there is also the danger from the creatures of the different universe.
With all kinds of thoughts filling his head, Jayden stood there with a solemn expression.
There was also danger to Emma’s life, and so many powerful creatures were after her.
"Sigh, I guess the future is going to be anything but boring." Just as he mumbled, he heard footsteps from behind.
Without even turning back his head, he knew exactly who was coming. A flowery scent filled the air, letting him know of her exquisite presence.
"I was just curious since we are a family now. Yes, that’s true. You don’t know me well enough yet, so you need to know me b- better.
Like Damuda, you can call me mother too, and..." As Aya came to his answer, her eyes sparkled as she finally thought of something.
Even though it is a sin, she felt genius to have come up with something like that.
’Sigh, this is all to help my daughter. As long as she could lead a happy life, I won’t mind sacrificing myself for her.’ Aya thought as she arranged words in her mind to execute her plan. This was her only chance, so she had to succeed.
Ada looked around the house and soon noticed her mother and Jayden standing side by side talking to each other.
She stayed inside and decided to observe them both from there, wondering if her mother could really do it. She had manipulated her to make this choice.
Ada was surprised when suddenly her mother stepped forward and took Jayden in a tight and intimate hug, like the one she herself had given to her husband.
"Nice one mother, just keep on going like this. Success won’t be too far," Ada whispered in the distance as she silently observed them both, waiting to enter at the right moment.
Her breathing was getting faster just seeing them hug.
Aya took in a deep breath as she inhaled his scent, her expression relaxing a little. "Yes, this is... you know, a kind of a r- ritual on our side. You don’t feel uncomfortable with this hug, right?" Aya asked, feeling the warmth of his body.
They stood close tightly. After he shook his head, she continued: "You know, in our tradition, when a girl m- marries, her mother is supposed to... uh, teach some things to the daughter and her s- son-in-law. It is a rather uhm intimate lesson.
If a mother doesn’t do it, then the marriage won’t prosper, and soon enough it would break unreasonably.
I have seen many m- marriages break apart like that, so we have to follow this tradition too for you and my daughter."
Jayden listened carefully to her. She was quite easy to lead.
"So in this tradition of yours, are you supposed to teach me how to hug?" he asked innocently.
"No, there is a whole lot more to that," Aya answered.
