"Do you understand everything now?" Jayden asked.

"Yes, but how do I see the missions? And will there be some kind of punishment if I fail to complete those missions like in the story?" Zeus asked; they were standing in a rather desolate area, so there was no one around.

"You just need to repeat these words as loudly as you can two times: Oh God of Green Hat, I follow thy path, allow me to be your successor and let me have the highest green hats."

Zeus listened to the words; after thinking for a few moments, he nodded his head and replied:

"I understand. You have certainly done a great job in preparing all this for me; I’ll reward you with one of my greatest treasures."

Zeus spoke, then taking a deep breath, he shouted:

"Oh God of Green Hat, I follow thy path, allow me to be your successor and let me have the highest green hats." Then Zeus paused, and after a moment, he repeated:

"Oh God of Green Hat, I follow thy path, allow me to be your successor and let me have the highest green hats."

"..." As Anna listened to this, she was bursting out laughing while Jayden was barely holding back his laughter.

He wanted to record this on camera, but right now Zeus was in another form, so it would be useless; he made a note in his mind to make him do it later in his original form.

"Good, now whenever you want to see the mission menu, you just need to repeat that phrase," Jayden said, his face calm.

Just as Zeus had finished, the mission screen actually appeared in front of him. A smile appeared on his face after seeing such a magical thing. Then he began to read the missions given to him.

Jayden knew that even though Zeus was in this state, the missions could only be moderate and not something that would be too out of line, or Zeus would be back to normal.

Jayden and Zeus walked away from there, and after leaving the desolate area, they came to bustling streets where there were dozens of shops selling all kinds of things.

It didn’t take them long to find a jewelry shop; it was midsized, and there were over ten to fifteen people inside right now. It had several shop assistants helping all the customers.

"Let’s go into this one," Zeus spoke as he observed the shop for a few minutes.

"Okay, but after you start, I won’t be able to help you and can only observe from the background. One thing that is taboo for your mission is that under no circumstances can you kill someone,"

Jayden spoke with a firm expression, looking straight into Zeus’s eyes.

"I understand. Just like in the story at the start, that boy was weak and he couldn’t offend people randomly; it makes sense," Zeus nodded after thinking for a moment.

The people walking by them all glanced toward the two before walking away. Zeus looked like a normal young man, but it was Jayden who was attracting attention because of his looks.

Among these mortals, he looked as if a god had himself descended. After seeing his divine appearance, they wouldn’t be able to forget it anytime soon and would probably be telling others about it.

After Zeus made up his mind, he began to walk toward the shop, with Jayden following some distance behind him.

The currency used on this planet was gold, and no human possessed any special abilities; they were absolutely normal mortals, those who were all fated to die soon in the future.

As the shop assistants saw the two men walking into the shop, they first observed them; one looked as if he were a king himself while the other looked like someone who was only here to steal something.

In this place during this period of time, status meant everything.

Though that is true for every place, in some places, people make it less obvious. But it is always true that the one with a higher status would look at others in disdain, as if they weren’t even the same species.

One shop assistant rubbed her hands and walked toward Jayden hastily before anyone else could make a move. With a seductive smile on her face, she spoke:

"Dear sir, how can I help you? I will show you whatever you wish... anything." Her tone seemed to possess double meaning while she fluttered her eyelashes in a seductive manner.

"The stones here look good, and the work done on the jewelry is pretty good too. It’s been quite long since I gave them a gift; I guess I should really buy some things," Jayden thought.
