"This meeting ends here, we will discuss the important thing in another meeting," Darius announced. Then, with a smile on his face, he moved away from Alice and came beside Jayden.
"Let’s go to our home, son-in-law." While speaking, Darius was smiling ear to ear, looking even happier than a few moments ago.
Then, dragging Jayden along with him, he began to walk out of the hall, leaving Alice standing there, wondering why her father looked even happier than he was when he saw her.
"That was so cool, how did you do that? Did you use a weapon to slice off his arm?" Darius asked while pulling Jayden along with him.
"Uh... No, I just tore his arm away," Jayden answered as he glanced back at Alice and gestured for her to come.
"Whoa, so with just your bare strength? I wasn’t even able to see you move, son-in-law." While talking, they soon arrived at the castle, while Alice followed silently beside them.
Darius just kept talking with Jayden, sometimes asking him about different things and sometimes telling him things about Alice when she was little.
Jayden sat down on a seat, Alice sat beside him, and Darius was sitting in front of him, smiling as he looked over them both.
"Father, what’s wrong? Why are you acting so strangely? Are you that happy to see hubby?" Alice asked, feeling unhappy.
"Of course, I am happy. I was always so worried about you. I didn’t know where you were or who you were married to.@@@@
I wondered if that person would even treat you properly, but seeing how he stood beside you earlier and attacked the minister like that, I am just so happy,"
Darius spoke, and Alice relaxed. Actually, it was not that strange to treat Jayden like that.
Since when a man visits his wife’s house, he is treated with utter respect and attention. They show the best hospitality, so her father’s behavior wasn’t that strange.
But it also seemed that he was too impressed by Jayden’s attack earlier since he kept talking about that.
Darius ordered various types of dishes for them, then he questioned: "So Alice, where have you been all this time? And you are happy, right?"
"Of course, I am happy, and after leaving this planet..." Alice explained some of the things to her father, and the more he listened, the more surprised he became.
She even explained how Jayden had saved her and slaughtered so many people.
"Oh, Father, just stop with your act. I know it’s difficult for you. And this is my home too, so don’t worry about it. I can deal with it easily," Alice spoke, a confident smile on her face.
Darius still tried to persuade them, but Alice just didn’t listen to her father. The people of this planet were very weak, after all.
"We will talk about all that later, let’s eat something first." Saying that, Darius brought them to the dining room, where a big table full of various types of dishes was present.
"It’s been so long since I have eaten many of these dishes," Alice spoke. Then she sat down and began to eat.
Jayden sat on the other side in front of her, and he started to eat too, while Darius ordered the servants to bring different things.

"Haa, that was nice," Alice spoke, the three of them walking outside the castle.
It had only been a few minutes while they were talking when suddenly the bearer of bad news came running towards them and began to report:
"Y-Your majesty, we are under attack again. This time they are attacking from the east, and they have brought their entire army, and King J is leading."
Immediately, a frown appeared over Darius’s face as he listened to the news. This was already the third time that he was launching attacks like these.
In the previous two attacks, he had destroyed quite a bit of their property, and instead of defeating them in a single time, he was breaking them slowly.
"We are going to defend with all we have got, get everyone read-" as Darius was ordering, he was interrupted by Alice.
"There is no need for that, Father. Let’s just go there and take care of them all."
"No, we can’t deal with them all on our own-" Darius still refused since he wasn’t sure how strong both of them truly were.
But suddenly, his body began to float in the air. The soldier standing there looked in shock; even Darius was startled as he let out a loud shout.
