Chapter 761: Forgetting something

Sensing Jayden’s gaze on them, they all bowed. Then the three assassins returned to Jayden’s shadow while Viser stood some distance away since he liked to stay alone.

"So, darling, what happened to Xerome? Hecate told us what had happened; is he fine?" Sasha asked, as worried expressions appeared on the faces of all of them.

"Xerome, he..." While speaking, Jayden paused for a moment, then he sighed and spoke:

"It was the Beast King, Malgor, who was disguising himself as Xerome, as you all must have heard. So after he went away from here, I went to the..."

Then Jayden explained everything that happened, omitting a few unnecessary parts, and the more they listened, the angrier and more upset their expressions became. They were all filled with rage and sadness at the same time.@@@@

"So where is he now? He is fine, right?" Sophie spoke.

"Yes, well, he looks more than just fine," Jayden spoke as he pointed.

They all looked up at the same time and saw Xerome flying around at such a fast speed. There were only minor changes in his appearance, but his strength had also increased a lot.

*BOOM*

Xerome landed on the ground in front of them, then laughing out loud, he spoke: "Hahaha Boss, this feels so much better. I feel like I could defeat just anyone."

"Oh, want to give it a go then?" Jayden asked, as he was holding Emma’s hand.

"Uh... Not really," Xerome shook his head immediately. Now he was sure he would finally be able to get a girl, one of the best.

"Do you remember everything that happened after you were kidnapped?" Sasha asked.

"No, it just feels as if I have woken up from a long sleep," Xerome replied. This was almost like a second life for him.

"Anyway, let’s get out of this place; I’m feeling hungry," Jayden said as he opened a portal. Then they all walked out of it and appeared back inside their house.

"How is everything going with the Night Corp?" Eleanor questioned. They had been away for quite a few days now.

"Kate is handling everything for now. You can check things later. So what should we eat now—wait, why do I feel like I’m forgetting something?"

"Well, just let the public be. They will eventually forget about it unless our opposition companies keep blowing this matter.

And as for the invaders, it looks like we need to increase the strength of our bodyguards," Jayden mumbled and decided to get them to do some training.

These were all the bodyguards that were previously werewolves and now had become vampires. They were part of Lisa’s family before, but all of their strength had stagnated for some time now.

"Is there something else?" Jayden asked again.

"Yes, sir, I prepared everything as you instructed. You can always count on the best assistant in the entire world.

And I’ll release that news immediately, though this is going to make the terrorists angry, and I’m sure you don’t really care about that. Then, please enjoy."

Saying that, Kate walked away. He knew Jayden was going to do what he wanted anyway.

Even though releasing this news was dangerous, Kate decided to do exactly that and even decided to release some really bad words about the terrorists.

After walking away from there, Jayden headed straight towards his office. He was feeling quite excited to see the changes that he had asked Kate to make.

And just as he entered, Jayden’s eyes sparkled. His office was completely redesigned. There were several types of lights, a complete gaming setup, and everything he needed.

Emma was already sitting there on the seat that was placed beside Jayden’s chair. She had a smile on her face as she waited for him.
