Amidst the whirl of the party, Ember's attempts to capture Das's attention with her seductive words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Das remained absorbed in his own thoughts, his detachment palpable as he refilled his wine glass and left her words hanging in the air.

Leaving the conversation behind, he embarked on a purposeful walk through the crowd, heading straight for Sana. Though she appeared occupied, the undercurrent of worry on her face was evident to his discerning gaze. As he neared her, Das maintained a casual demeanour, making it seem like a simple interaction.

Passing her a wine glass, he addressed her with a nod.

"Young master," Sana began, her voice a blend of formality and restraint."

However, her actions spoke louder than her words. Das's keen observation caught the slight tremor in her hands as she accepted the glass, her façade of normalcy wavering.@@@@

In a moment that belied the party's revelry, Das's gaze remained unwavering as he probed. "What happened?" he inquired, his voice now carrying a weight of concern that matched the seriousness in his eyes.

Sana's reply was hurried, almost abrupt. "Nooo, master, everything is alright."

The contradiction between her words and demeanour did not escape Das's attention. He could sense the tension emanating from her, an unease that transcended the pretence of normalcy. In that fleeting exchange, amidst the rhythm of the music and the laughter of the party, a thread of intrigue was woven, hinting at a mystery that demanded his attention.

Das's tone carried an unwavering firmness as he addressed Sana's attempt at concealing the truth. "When did you learn to speak lies?" His words, coupled with his resolute gaze, left no room for evasion. Sana's own attempt at duplicity crumbled under the weight of his crimson-red stare, his seriousness penetrating through her defences.

"Did any of your forces abduct a man today?"

The voice on the other side held surprise and denial, "What? Nooo... Why would we abduct anyone? And even if we did, how does it concern you?" Princess Amara, a pivotal ally in Das's rise to power over Mumbai, responded inquisitively.

"What I'm asking is connected to me. So, tell me, did your forces abduct any men today?" Das pressed on, a hint of impatience colouring his tone.

After ten seconds of deep silence, Amara started speaking.

Amara's reply carried a tinge of seriousness. "Nooo... What's going on? Why are you asking this?"

However, Das disconnected the call without providing an explanation. His focus was drawn back to the present predicament. While initially Das thought the Farus family would have done to black mail him and know the information of Viper. But he trusted Amara's words. as she values her promises.

In the midst of uncertainty and complexity, Das found himself at a crossroads, in his mind, there is only one suspect now.

"The Aries family."
