As the rusted old van rolled along the dimly lit route, Das observed the surroundings, realising that they were heading towards the city outskirts. The area seemed to be under the influence of the Farus family, with soldiers busy setting up camps and strategic points.
The proximity to the sea made it an ideal location for their military operations, offering easy access for their warships and air jets, as well as a quick escape route in times of emergency.
Leela drove the van with determination, her face serious and focused. Das couldn't help but admire the ability of the Farus family in setting up this large camp in a short span. As they approached a campsite, the soldiers glanced at the van, recognising the Farus family label, and immediately gave way for it to pass.@@@@
The atmosphere was tense as the van reached its destination. It was evident that something significant was unfolding behind the scenes, and Leela's presence had a sense of urgency about it. Despite the darkness, the soldiers moved with precision, setting up equipment and maintaining a vigilant watch.
As they finally parked, Leela turned towards Das, her expression grave. "We've reached our destination," she said firmly. "Come with me, and don't try anything foolish. I will take you directly to meet with Princess Amara."
Das nodded with glee, maintaining his composure. He knew he had to tread carefully, and confronting Amara was not something he took lightly. Yet, he also felt an underlying sense of intrigue, for one single agent, they started to search for so soon.
Leela escorted him through the camp, guiding him with a sense of authority that showed she was no mere receptionist. The soldiers around them gave respectful nods, indicating that they were well aware of her position within the Farus family.
As they approached a well-guarded tent, Leela stepped aside to let Das enter first. Inside, he found Princess Amara sitting on a throne-like chair, surrounded by her loyal generals. Her eyes bore into him with a mix of determination and curiosity.
As Das entered the tent, he greeted Princess Amara with an innocent smile. He took the seat offered to him, and Amara studied him intently, her mind swirling with conflicting thoughts. The crimson-red colour of his eyes was deeply unsettling, as it was such a stark contrast to what she had known about him before.
His previous blue eyes had given her the impression that he might be an Aries family member, but now he seemed like an entirely different person.
As Leela stormed into the tent, her anger was palpable. The sharp glint of the dagger she held against Das's throat sent a clear message of her frustration. "You fucking clown. Tell the truth," she demanded, her voice seething with emotion.
"You went to skull island and spent time with that bossy bitch Eden. My sister Viper reported all this information to our family. But she went missing for the last three days. So stop acting all innocent and speak about what you know about Viper."
Das maintained his calm demeanour, though he couldn't help but feel the weight of the situation. He carefully measured his response, choosing his words thoughtfully. "I have no idea who this Viper is," he stated firmly, locking eyes with Leela.
"I have met Eden, yes, but the name Viper means nothing to me. The skull island boss Eden took a fancy on my body and invited me to have intercourse. In this process, she even took me to a secret place inside the Rocky Mountains to have a pleasure time with me."
Leela's anger seemed to intensify at his response, and she pressed the dagger slightly against his skin, causing him to wince. "Don't play games with me," she hissed. "I know you're hiding something. My sister sent information about you and now she's missing. Tell me the truth, or I'll make you regret it."
Inwardly, Das sighed. He had hoped to avoid any confrontation with the Farus family, but it seemed that fate had other plans. He knew he had to handle this situation carefully. "I assure you, I have no knowledge of any Viper," he said firmly, trying to maintain his composure. "I have my own concerns to deal with, and I'm not involved in whatever is happening with your sister." Stay updated via My Virtual Library Empire
Princess Amara, who had been silently observing the exchange, finally spoke up. "Leela, let's not jump to conclusions." she said calmly, trying to diffuse the tension. "Das if I find any involvement with my sister's missing, You will face the consequences."
Leela hesitated for a moment, her eyes narrowing as she considered Amara's words. Finally, she withdrew the dagger and took a step back. "Fine, but don't think you're off the hook," she warned Das, her gaze still filled with suspicion.
As they continued their conversation, Das couldn't help but feel a glimmer of annoyance.
