Chapter 827: Displeasure and Reinforcements
The two massive pillars of elemental light, each exceeding a hundred meters in diameter, erupted from the center of the space fortress, serving as a signal for Sein and his group’s breakout toward the main fortress base.
With much of the space fortress buried in the desert, the intense heat from the blasts vaporized the surrounding yellow sands.
The main cannon of the space fortress, with destructive power rivaling the full strength of a Rank Four or higher entity, had essentially depleted all the energy crystals that could not be taken away.
Yet, the attack helped Sein and the others tremendously by obliterating nearly half of the Wild Gorilla forces encircling the fortress.
Seizing the opportunity created by the main cannon and the Wild Gorilla Army’s delayed response of reinforcements from other directions, the Magus World troops surged forward in a thunderous advance toward the Verdant Spring’s main fortress base.
The force, which had originally consisted of tens of thousands, now swelled to millions with the addition of the Yaja slaves.
Though individually weak in combat, these hardworking Yaja creatures were considered relatively high-quality medium and low-level enslaved creatures.
While they were physically smaller than the minotaurlings of Centaur World, they were far more intelligent.
Among the Yaja, the elite slaves who had reached Rank One or higher displayed impressive capabilities, including flight and the ability to wield their steel forks from a distance.
Their blood and skin seemed to be magnetic—a feature that piqued Sein’s curiosity. Under different circumstances, he might have taken the time to study these peculiar beings.
The two devastating main cannon beams had torn a gaping hole in the Wild Gorilla Army, creating an advantageous starting point for the breakout.
However, as the breakout continued, the combat limitations of the vast Yaja enslaved army became increasingly apparent.
Breaking through with twenty thousand elite magic beasts was one thing; doing so with millions of untrained and less effective troops was a completely different challenge.
Though Sein and his companions had managed to reach the outskirts of the fallen space fortress earlier, that success did not guarantee a safe return to the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring’s main fortress base.
The Wild Gorilla Legion gathered in the desert was anything but blind and had no intention of letting the Magus World forces escape unchallenged.
Once again, fierce clashes and relentless bloodshed erupted across the sands.
What was once an arid, blistering desert had now grown damp, saturated with fresh blood.
“The wars I waged over decades in the Undead World are nothing compared to the sheer intensity of what I’ve faced since coming to the Wild Gorilla World,” Sanchez muttered.
The massive undead skeletal dragon had deliberately shrunk itself to a modest size of about twenty meters in length.
In comparison, other planes occupied by the Magus World often had only one or two Rank Four powerhouses at most.
Additionally, those planes lacked the massive numbers of magic beasts and the millions of enslaved creatures that served as cannon fodder.
Sandstorm World was both the Wild Gorilla Army’s greatest challenge and the Wild Gorilla God’s primary target.
According to analysis from the Gallant Federation, Sandstorm World held far greater strategic value than the other planes currently under attack by the Wild Gorilla Army.
“There is already a Rank Six powerhouse from Magus World who has taken notice of the situation here, and they are relatively close to this area,” Wild Gorilla God stated.
“I’ll deal with that Rank Six mage myself, but before I return, I expect this low-level plane to be conquered and firmly under our control,” it added, fixing its piercing gaze on its trusted subordinate, a peak Rank Five Gorilla God whose body crackled with lightning energy.
Upon receiving the order, the peak Rank Five Gorilla God stood at attention and responded with unwavering determination, “I swear to reclaim this world for the glory of the Wild Gorilla Clan!”
“Hmph!” Wild Gorilla God snorted before turning toward the starry sky and sped toward Arbitor World.
Its confidence in the peak Rank Five Gorilla God was well-founded, given its record of personally eliminating formidable Rank Four Magus World powerhouses.
It was unfortunate that the loss of White Banisher Gorilla God and the collapse of Wild Gorilla World had made capable subordinates increasingly scarce.

Beyond Arbitor World...
A newly arrived Rank Six Bloodline Warlock hovered in the void, observing the plane below with a blend of curiosity and mild surprise.
The Wild Gorilla Clan’s ability to organize such a massive counteroffensive had caught even the most seasoned Magus World powerhouses off guard.
A faint glimmer of schadenfreude flickered in the warlock’s eyes—he had never been on good terms with the Kermoine Serpent Warlock Clan, whose forces were currently fighting down there.
Hailing from the Black Viperfish Serpent Bloodline Warlock Clan, another prominent lineage on the West Coast of the Magus World, this Rank Six Warlock was the current head of his family.
The rivalry between the Black Viperfish and Kermoine clans was a longstanding feud within the Giant Serpent Warlock lineage.
Despite this, the Rank Six Black Viperfish Serpent Warlock had every intention of aiding the Magus World Army below.
In the grand scheme of interplanar war, personal grudges were insignificant compared to the collective interests of the Magus Civilization.
Nearly all of Magus World’s elite understood this principle.
