Chapter 414 Kismet Surprise
Chapter 414 Kismet Surprise
Before he could be answered Jesús was already talking to someone on the other end.
Nikolai had sat there, not moving or making any noise that would draw attention to him. So much that even Sekani and Wilfred forgot he was even there.
"That's some ability you have there," Sekani said surprise in his voice.
Wilfred nodded, so did Dean Whitmore. While James was also quiet he was at least in a seat where everyone could see him, but Nikolai had chosen an inconspicuous corner.
Nikolai smiled embarrassed, "ah it's nothing really I was just listening to you guys talk, I had nothing to add since I'm the only kid here."
"Yeah, this should be very strange for you. If you want to change your mind, you can always do you know? Nothing us written in stone."
Nikolai understood his concerns but this was written in stone ever since he was forced to run away, ever since they had killed his mother right in front of him. He respected Kiro's father greatly, he seemed like a great person and overall a great dad, but there was absolutely nothing he could say to sway him away from his revenge.
Arnold Black was his for the taking, nobody, absolutely nobody could have him.
"I know, but I have to do this." He said without skipping a beat.
Grey Whitmore was listening into their conversation. The words died in his throat, he. couldn't believe what he was hearing, was this child going to go with them?
He had every reason to be concerned. The slave mind was nothing like the underground ring, the ring had guards here and there but the slave mine was a different scenario entirely.
It was far away from civilisation, it was heavily guarded according to Wilfred and every guard had a lot of guns strapped into their bodies. The old guys, while they didn't deserve to die, this was on them to do.
But the younger generation were the future, they shouldn't be wasting their lives the way Nikolai was doing here.
"Listen here kid, maybe you feel confident because of the underground ring you guys were able to singlehandedly stop but this is different, didn't you hear Wilfred?"
"That won't be a problem, but can you even drive a train?" Jesús asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Of course. I can build and invent things but you think I can't drive a train? A train?" He sounded almost offended.
Jesús' arms flew into the air in resignation. This would be the last thing he wanted to fight about. And since they would be leaving tomorrow morning, he called up his butler to bring him new clothes.
They had no choice but to make the Waynworth estate their headquarters for now. Sekani also understood that much but there was no way he was going to allow all of this to go on under the same roof as his little kids and his wife.
"I won't be hospitable, everyone please file out to the back. This should be taking place in the complex."
The guests didn't argue they understood. Philip wasn't there, LJ had been moved into the main house so the entire building was empty. The man of the house told Vada and Angelina to sleep in the main house for the next couple of days.
It was the safest place in the Waynworth estate, he wanted to make sure that everything ran smoothly even when they were away.
"Listen here Raul, you'll be the man of the house while we're gone."
"Yes sir!"
Wilfred had been training him ever since Kiro and Felix were kidnapped right under his nose. He wasn't a great fighter but he was a fighter that none should underestimate.
Just when they got out of the house, there was a package delivered.
"I have a delivery for Sekani Waynworth," the delivery boy said.
"From?"
He looked into his paper pad and looked up again, "From Kismet Inc."
