Once the two Oni Demons died, I sighed in relief, and everyone was able to relax. I couldn't detect any more Nightmare Formations around, and the Nightmare Door they opened had already closed before I could infiltrate it. It seemed to only respond to their commands.
"A job well done," I nodded. "Looks like these losers couldn't even hold a candle... I think they were much weaker than you, Beatriz."
"Naturally! They're just the weakest of the Nightmare Demons. Do you think father will ever send the Elites to just fetch for Dream Hearts? He has at least several of these fodders..." Beatriz said in her cat form, as she started eating them. "Hm? Oh, I think I can absorb their memories like this, hehe."
"Wait, you can?!" I asked, surprised. "Then eat them completely! We got enough Nightmare Cores anyways."
"Heheh! Thanks!" Beatriz smiled. "Something tastier than Dreams and Nightmares is always the flesh and blood of Nightmare Demons! However, cannibalism is usually banned within our society. Good thing I'm not even in their society anymore, keheheh!"
She was very happy to be a cannibal for some reason... Well, good for her I suppose.

The Exp they gave was decent enough to get a Level out of this... And when I'm such a strong being where leveling is hard, a single level sometimes is pretty fine.
I have... 32 Levels to go before Max Level and then, finally, another evolution!
The last time I evolved was when Baldr descended, and I had to use that power to destroy him.
Once I evolve again, just how strong I could become? Maybe it'll help me skip some Divinity Ranks easily.
All my previous evolutions had been through getting something from someone though, so I wonder what's next...
Hm, maybe I shouldn't overthink it for now.
authorities simply have not the power to help everyone so easily.
I began splitting my Phantasmal body into hundreds of miniature selves I called "Little Ghosts" which I sent everywhere.
The Little Ghosts spread around the entire living perimeter where mostly all students either live or come from, and then I gently placed them underground.
Using my Divine Powers and hundreds of Nightmare Cores as the fuels, I started creating a special Shadow Ghost Nightmare Formation.
This Formation, as I've designed it right now, will be ghostly, invisible to any person outside of the strongest Nightmares.
It'll protect people from them, fueled by Nightmare Cores, it'll make it impossible for Nightmare Doors to open.
How?
By using my Spatial Manipulation and Void Skills and Magic, I've tweaked the Formation, so it'll simply eject the Nightmare Doors back where they came from.
It costs a tremendous amount of Mana to maintain, but I can do it without breaking a sweat!
My Mana is already tremendously high, and it regenerates very fast, so I don't mind.
With that, I can keep the Formation up indefinitely as long as I feed it a few hundred Nightmare Cores every day.
And because we won't be staying here for more than five more days, that shouldn't be an issue as long as we hunt down Nightmares inside of Nightmare Realms whenever we got the chance
and opportunity.
Already from what we've done so far, I've got myself over five thousand Nightmare Cores, it should be already enough for a while, but I'll be probably absorbing them or letting others absorb them, and experiment on them too.
For the "experimentation" I've decided to later attempt to absorb them in large quantities and see what happens to my body and soul once I do.
For now though, I'm doing a little "preparation" within my Shadow Realm with the help of
some people.
"Oh, Maria! You're a bit late... good morning!" Sofia greeted me the moment I stepped into the academy building; she was waiting for me in the entrance.
