Among these people, one man who seemed to be a priest of some sort was standing the closest to the wooden logs, and he was the one giving all the orders while people followed him as if he was God himself.

The little girl was covered in blood, her body was wet because of the oil thrown on her by the priest. She was about to suffer the same fate as the others still burning beside her.
The priest was a man in his fifties with long black hair with some white hair and had long beard on his face.
A cloth was tied to his lower body while he wasn’t wearing anything on top. He held a knife in one hand while a rope in the other, which was burning.
He had used that knife to create various cuts on all the people who had already died, and even the little girl had several cuts over her arms and face.
The priest was chanting strange incantations loudly while doing a strange kind of dance all around the little girl, saying things like:
"O God, accept this daughter of the demon."
"Grace us with good health, food, and wealth. In return, we offer these demons."
"Bless us all. In the name of God, we are sacrificing these evil creatures. May God destroy their souls and give them the hardest punishments."
As the priest continued to chant, the people around were repeating those things and throwing stones, trying to remove all the evil from their village.
Two lines of tears could be seen flowing down the bloodied cheeks of the girl, but she no longer displayed any emotions, probably because of the death of the other people.
Finally, the priest stopped in front of the girl and began to speak something in a very low voice while stones continued to rain down, hitting all over the girl. Soon it was going to be time to set her on fire.

At this time, with a loud explosive sound, Jayden appeared in front of the girl and raised his hand as all the stones that were thrown towards her stopped in mid-air.
"R- Right, we have to kill him; let’s kill him together," one man shouted as he picked up several stones from the ground.
"All devils need to be burned alive. We shall burn his body and destroy his soul so that he would never be able to have a rebirth," an old woman shouted, her face full of rage as if Jayden had just killed her entire family.
"Our village will be able to receive a large reward once we report the painful deaths of all these evildoers. We will finally be able to live comfortably," a woman spoke, a smile full of greed on her face, her hand full of sharp stones.
"Yes, right. God will reward us all greatly. We are all going to heaven," the priest spoke, a big smile appearing over his face, though he himself didn’t come to attack and kept inciting others to attack.
In the next moment, all of the people threw as many stones towards Jayden as they could. Many of them even threw whatever they found around themselves, even knives.
"Hah! So you all wanted to see an actual demon that badly?" Jayden released a loud laugh, which reverberated all over the land, and the other people fell silent.
Their stones had again stopped some distance away from Jayden, and they all just kept floating.
Hearing such a deafening laugh that was making everything around tremble, even the small girl slightly raised her head.
Her eyes widened slightly as she saw a figure standing in front of her, while many things, along with the stones, were floating in front of him. Although surprised, the expression of the girl didn’t change at all.
"I shall fulfill your wishes. Then you can try hunting an actual demon. Maybe God might really reward you greatly."
Just as Jayden spoke, he took a step forward, and purple flames burst out of his body. In the next instant, his entire body was covered by those flames.
But unlike before, the flames didn’t stop as they kept pouring out of his body. His size kept increasing at an unbelievable rate, and within seconds, he had become several meters tall and large.
The people unconsciously took many steps back as they stared at the demonic figure in front of them. Two long and curved horns appeared on top of his head, which gave him a proper demonic look.
The land was bathed in the purple light, and the temperature of the place kept increasing. Jayden’s feet had grown to the size that, with a single stomp, he could crush several people.
