Chapter 802: Only evil is rewarded
With that size and ominous purple flames, the two dangerous Longhorns and those big red glowing eyes, he truly looked like a demon who had come straight from hell.
It was the Nether Lord’s form too, though it used too much energy so Jayden didn’t use it when its only advantage was big size while having a few downsides.
Even the little girl stared in disbelief at Jayden’s back; all people called her devil she wondered if she was going to be like that too in the future but then, she was about to die whether by the priest’s hand or by this demon’s.
"T- Th- This..." The priest was at a loss for words, his heart was pounding madly and legs were shaking uncontrollably; he felt his death nearing.
All the villagers were in a similar condition; there was no way their weapons were going to work against something like that. But then one of them remembered something and shouted:
"Everyone, we don’t n- need to worry, we still have our priest with us. I am sure with his strength he could easily turn this demon into ashes."
Hearing this, the rest of the villagers began to gain courage as they walked behind the priest who was frozen stiff.
Jayden’s body finally stopped growing; he could grow even further but for now this much was enough. All those people already looked so small in front of him and this was enough to scare them all.
"I defeat that?" the priest mumbled. He had just shown some small tricks in the past and had fooled the villagers; there was no way he could do anything to that devil.
"You fools!! How dare you call him a devil and slander him." Suddenly the priest changed his tone and began to shout at the people, his expression angry but they were all confused.
"The God has finally answered our prayers; he himself has descended over this land and has allowed us to see his divine form. How dare you stand in front of the God, everyone pay respect to the God." The priest spoke, though his voice and legs were still shaking.
The people were stunned at first but then they came back to their senses, throwing all their stones and weapons away; they knelt down on the ground and pressed their foreheads against the ground.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Saaaaave meeeeee ughhhhhhh pleaseeeee forgive me uwaaaaaaaah."
At first, the priest screamed loudly but then he just kept suffering without being able to make any sound; yet he was not able to die. Even after his pain receptors had completely burned off, he still felt that intense pain as if his body was constantly being healed and destroyed.
The villagers felt their hearts go cold as they heard the priest’s scream; though none of them were able to see anything, they just placed their heads back on the ground and kept shivering.
Especially the old people who were very enthusiastic earlier seemed to be in the worst condition.
"You had such a great leader, but unfortunately, he has decided to meet with the God, so I should find a way for you all so you can live a prosperous life." Jayden spoke, while the priest kept burning over his palm.
"..." The villagers stayed silent, not daring to say even a single word; all of them just wanted to get out of there with their lives intact.
"Rise my loyal followers, I shall leave you with all the riches and wealth you ever wanted, give you an eternal life and beauty. You shall pray to me for centuries to come."
Jayden’s voice rang out; even the girl who was almost dead from inside wondered why these evil people were the ones to get all this when they had just killed her family.
Maybe her family really was evil and God was favoring these people who killed the evil, or maybe this God was just evil, like these people.
On the other hand, the people who heard this had ecstatic expressions on their faces; their eyes glowed with excitement and greed as they finally stood up and in low voices discussed their futures.
